Oakwood Mums Club

I want to create a space within Oakwood that makes it easier for like-minded mums to meet up and have fun with their dogs whilst being able to care for their babies with no pressure of how this looks. Oakwood Mums Club will: 

• Give you the tools to strengthen your bond with your dog, even with a little one around
• Provide you with the tools to confidently set boundaries at home meaning you will all be happy under one roof 

Since having my little girl in October, it has made me realise how much the world, in some ways, restricts you from doing hobbies/activities with your baby. Unless you have a good support system for childcare in these early months, you are limited in many ways. Personal opinion: your baby should be with you in this precious time, but it shouldn't mean everything else is out of bounds.

The mum community is incredible, and bringing mums together in any way is a force to be reckoned with, but a lot of us were dog owners before this massive change. I want to make it easier to include all of your titles. 

You are welcome to come along to Oakwood Mums Club without your baby (if you have children) or without your dog to start with, if doing it all feels overwhelming initially. Coming to listen if you are expecting a baby will be beneficial also.
